The orientation of the building to surrounding public spaces encourages interaction between residents and the public. Shared common space is located on the first floor, where residents are served meals and spend time in a cafe and "living room that are accessible to the public.

Circulation is centered around two cores containing stairs and elevators. The cores are surrounded by public lounge space to encourage daily interaction between residents. Apartments are accessed through these public lounge areas, minimizing the use of hallways.

A public plaza was created at the entry linking it to the existing Lindenplatz on the next block. Private outdoor space was created behind the building for more secluded use.

.Access to the entry of the building is gained through a street-facing public plaza. The onsite cafe and 'living room' also have access to this plaza, ensuring interaction between residents and visitors and the public.
